Trim levels in the new 2023 Dodge Challenger

The fearless Dodge Challenger offers you a choice of muscular HEMI® V8 engines, available all-wheel drive and a ride that’s surprisingly comfortable. A V6 engine comes standard in the non-SRT Challenger models but you can have the most fun with the available naturally aspirated HEMI® V8 engines. You can choose from a variety of displacements and get outputs that range from 375 horsepower to 485 horsepower.

For an even higher level of power, Dodge offers the rip-roaring Challenger SRT Hellcat. Here’s a quick look at the trim levels in the new 2023 Dodge Challenger at Bayshore Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Baytown TX.

The SXT trim

This is the most affordable version of the Dodge Challenger and it’s powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that’s good for 303 horsepower. A dual exhaust helps the engine breathe more easily and delivers a little more growl. On the outside, you’ll see 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic on and off halogen headlights, heated power side mirrors and a rear spoiler. The SXT also gives buyers from Pearland and Harris County, TX, a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat that includes adjustable lumbar for better support of your lower back.

To enhance the joy of driving, the SXT trim gives you a leather-wrapped steering wheel that includes audio, cruise controls and Bluetooth. A configurable digital display is located between the tachometer and a speedometer that registers up to 160 mph. A 7-inch color touch screen comes standard and so does a six-speaker radio and 19-inch wheels. If you choose the available Plus Package, you’ll get Nappa leather sports seats, a power-adjustable heated steering wheel and a premium audio upgrade.

The GT trim

The GT trim builds off the SXT model and adds more performance upgrades. The GT trim runs with the same 3.6-liter V6 engine as the SXT and adds a 3.07:1 rear axle, Performance brakes and steering, remote start, a performance suspension system and a performance hood with a functional hood scoop. The GT moves you up to 20-inch wheels, rear parking sensors and a performance steering wheel. At the SXT level, you can get an available Harman Kardon premium stereo with 18 speakers.

The R/T trim

The R/T version of the Dodge Challenger increases the muscle with a 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine that delivers 375 horsepower and puts you in charge of driving with a 6-speed manual transmission. The R/T and all higher trims come only with rear-wheel drive. In addition, the R/T ratchets up the performance factor with a 3.90:1 rear axle, a limited-slip differential, 20-inch wheels and a stainless steel performance exhaust. If you upgrade to the Performance Plus package, you’ll get 20-inch low-gloss black aluminum wheels with PZero summer tires.

The R/T Scat Pack trim

The Scat Pack builds off the R/T trim with a 485-horsepower HEMI® V8 engine with a six-speed manual transmission, or you can get an 8-speed automatic. Other upgrades that are built standard into the Scat Pack model are Brembo four-piston performance brakes, SRT configurable drive modes, a heavy-duty alternator and Severe Duty II engine cooling.

The R/T Scat Pack Widebody

The new Challenger R/T Scat Pack Wide body version of the Dodge Challenger comes with a HEMI® V8 engine with 385 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. You’ll get the stopping power of six-piston Brembo front brakes and four-piston Brembo rear brakes. Underneath, buyers from Spring and Pasadena, TX will find Bilstein® adaptive damping suspension with a customizable ride stiffness setting.

The SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody Jailbreak trim

If you choose the SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody Jailbreak model, you’ll get Widebody Competition Suspension along with Widebody fender flares and 20” x 11” Carbon Black lightweight aluminum wheels.
