Built for urban environments and off-road adventures alike, the 2024 Jeep Compass is as versatile as it is stylish. It features incredible Active Drive 4×4 technology as well as best-in-class standard power and torque. Whatever your plans for this go-anywhere compact crossover SUV are, there’s a perfect trim level for you.
Trim Levels of the 2024 Jeep Compass
Jeep Compass Sport
The Jeep Compass Sport lacks the available extras that begin with the Latitude, but its standard features are nonetheless great. It still has a brutal 2.0 L four-cylinder turbo engine, for instance, which delivers a potent 200 hp and up to 221 lb-ft of torque. All trim levels get this confidence-inspiring engine, which pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This power helps the Compass achieve a 2,000-pound towing capacity.
Other features include three Selec-Terrain driving modes and the Uconnect 5 infotainment system that runs through a large 10.1″ touchscreen. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support is a generous standard feature, as is the Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection technology that features in all Compasses. Several other clever driver-assistance technologies are included.
Jeep Compass Latitude
At the Latitude level, the Compass becomes much more customizable, but it also gains some nice standard features. Examples include fog and cornering lamps, interior door handle lamps, ambient LED lighting, premium cloth/vinyl upholstery, body-color door handles, a TechnoLeather steering wheel, and front door passive entry and locking.
Among the many available extras are a 360 Surround-View Camera System, a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, a 2-way power lumbar adjustable driver’s seat, a choice of wheels, a wireless charging pad, dual zone A/C, and the Premium Alpine 9-speaker audio system.
Jeep Compass Latitude Lux
The Latitude Lux adds icing to the Latitude trim with features like leatherette seats (heated at the front), sliding sun visors with illuminated mirrors, a remote start system, a heated steering wheel, 18″ wheels, and an 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat with 2-way lumbar adjustment.
Jeep Compass Limited
The Limited includes 18″ diamond-cut wheels, dual-zone climate control, and rain-detecting windshield wipers. There’s also Adaptive Cruise Control technology with Stop and Go, plus the handy ParkSense Rear Park-Assist System. Lots of other enhancements are possible at this point, like a bigger 10.25″ instrument panel and built-in navigation.
Jeep Compass Trailhawk
While you can easily go off-road with any Compass, there’s only one trim to pick if you fancy tackling rocky terrain or going fording. The Trailhawk includes off-road suspension, extra ground clearance, underbody skid plates, and a special Rock driving mode. It also employs the Jeep Active Drive Low 4×4 system, enabling a 20:1 crawl ratio that helps it earn Jeep’s stringent “Trail Rated” designation.
